I spent a little time making this video to show a little more of what it's like to get a tattoo covered up.
Thank you Scott for trusting me through this process and dedicating yourself to make it through.

I've had a lot of fun with the guys in A Day to Remember over the years, honored to have made tattoos for them and to have been able to enjoy many adventures along the way. Love these dudes and I hope you all enjoy the little video we made. When I was a kid, I remember hearing "No Rain" by Blind Melon and loving not only the song, but the video as well. So it inspired us to make this video with our kids for our new single "Left in the Rain". Years ago, I began using my "spare" time in a more productive way with my wife Heidi and best friend Heath by focusing our time on writing music and enjoying our time by learning, practicing, and playing music together. When this began, I never imagined it would turn into this. Now having opportunities like this to make videos and music with our kids is probably the coolest thing ever. I never really imagined that it would inspire our kids so much along the way. I love having big dreams and I'm really excited to share those dreams with the people I love...
A few months ago I made this tattoo for my homie Steve Kopacz of the character Dwight Schrute on The Office. We thought it was pretty rad to see that the actor who plays this character, Rainn Wilson, also posted the tattoo image on his Instagram page as well. hahahahah I guess he likes it.
Very honored to be asked to do an interview for Kerrang Magazine and proud to be along side my homie London Reese as well. The article never mentions our views on each other, but if they would have asked me I would have loved to tell them how great of a guy London is and how hard he works as well. Proud to call him a friend and he is a great tattooer and painter and great inspiration. Thank you London, Thank you Kerrang Magazine, and most importantly Thank you to everyone who has collected a tattoo from me along the way, in a band or not, I appreciate you all very much!
Sail Across the Sun is a cruise hosted annually by the band Train. A few years ago, my friend Jimmy, who plays guitar for Train, asked me if I would be interested in tattooing on their cruise, of course I said "Hell yeah" and so it began.. This year was the second year I tattooed on the cruise ship. At the end of the day, the best part about what I get to do every day is make people happy.. Pat Monahan, the singer of Train, joined us to write out a few songs lyrics for fans to get tattooed. Danny Derrick and I made this tattoo flash poster for the trip, we printed 100 limited edition, numbered posters for the cruise. I may have a few left and will put up for sale for cheap on the store page of the website until we run out of the remaining few for those who may want one. I had a great time with my wife and did a lot of tattooing along the way, along with my friend Danny Derrick and his wife Michelle. We visited Costa Maya, Mexico, got a great sunburn, left with a few great memories, and made many new friends, Great Trip!
Couldn't be more excited about this project I've been working on for a really long time with 2 people that I love so very much. My best bud Heath Fowler and my beautiful wife Heidi Beasley and I just released the first song and video for our music group called Heidi Mae. We had a lot of help from our friend Steve Kopacs, Wild Light Films, who filmed this video as well as played drums on this recording. As well as Lee Dyess at Earthbound Recording Studio in Valdosta, Georgia who helped us track and mix everything, there's a lot more to come too, this is only the beginning, hope you enjoy. This is all independently created and produced by us, no labels just love.. If you enjoy this so far, please check out our website and join the mailing list at www.HeidiMaeMusic.com
The Mountain is also now available on iTunes, Spotify, Pandora, etc. American Authors are a pretty awesome band from New York, known for their hit single Best Day of My Life. I had the pleasure of getting to know these guys while I was out touring with The Fray last year. A few of the guys decided they wanted to get tattooed along the way as well, so this is a few of what we did. Hopefully I'll get better photos of the others one day as well. Either way, Thanks Guys! Great band and all around great guys too!
