Very honored to be asked to do an interview for Kerrang Magazine and proud to be along side my homie London Reese as well. The article never mentions our views on each other, but if they would have asked me I would have loved to tell them how great of a guy London is and how hard he works as well. Proud to call him a friend and he is a great tattooer and painter and great inspiration. Thank you London, Thank you Kerrang Magazine, and most importantly Thank you to everyone who has collected a tattoo from me along the way, in a band or not, I appreciate you all very much!

Tattoos are not always about perfection, sometimes it is more about the memory and living in the moment, this is life and it is supposed to be fun. There has been plenty of times while on tour that I have let people tattoo each other, just the same as I have gotten tattooed by random people many of times too. We are clean and safe about it all and have never regretted a single moment of it. Chrissy Costanza, Travis Clark, and myself having some fun. Teaching Pete Wentz how to make his mark on Dirty. The Fray leaving their mark on me.. "skrillex" waaaay before he was Skrillex Ashlee Simpson and I shared a moment together as well.. Also showed Demi Lovato a thing or two about making a little tattoo. Cassadee Pope, winner of The Voice, has also been a wonderful victim along the way. hahaha
I absolutely love what I do and every day that I get another chance to enjoy life. A lot of people ask how I balance having such a large family as well as such large ambitions and how do my children and wife react to me traveling so much. The answer is that it's not easy at all, everything takes a lot of communication and compromise from us all, and I try my best to include them all as much as possible too. I do know for sure that it has been worth the time and hard work, mainly because I have also been able to watch all of my children be influenced by all of this world around them. They get to meet and get to know a lot of the guys I travel with as well. Now it's super cool to see my kids actually become a fans of these bands as well as learning to play their music on guitar and draw pictures of their logos and song lyrics, the inspiration for them has been amazing to grow up around.
Music and Art are amazing things, especially when they become a part of your family. In 2006 I became good friends with a great guy named Joe Trohman. Joe is known for founding and playing guitar in Fall Out Boy, which is a very successful pop rock band originally from Chicago. Over the years of becoming friends, Joe has invited me to travel with him on many of his US tours to make tattoos for him, his band mates and crew members along the way. For myself just being a weird guy from southern Georgia who grew up listening to their music, I have always been very honored and excited to travel and work with these guys. Joe has spent many hours collecting both sleeves and a full chest tattoo from me. Another band member, Pete Wentz, has also collected a handful of tattoos from me on his arm as well. There is never a dull moment traveling with these guys too, super fun tours and all around great people. Thanks for the memories guys! It's been pretty cool to see a few moments in life get captured on film for the world to see as well. Magazines printing photos involving moments where I am tattooing and showing off the work I did. Below is a moment where I was tattooing Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy, while Brendon Urie of Panic At the Disco decided to join us and film for an episode of Drunk History. Pretty entertaining for sure. Here is also a pretty awesome Vine post that Brendon made while I was tattooing his drummer Dan. April 2006, I was invited to tattoo on the "Black Clouds and Underdogs Tour" with my friends in the band From First to Last, they were opening for Fall Out Boy on this tour. Looking back now, I'd say that this few months of my life was pretty eye opening and lifechanging in a sense. I rememeber having a great time on this tour with everyone associated, band members and crew alike, making tons of new friends and tattooing a lot along the way. Usually people that love tattoos also love to have a good time, especially this guy.. Dirty! hahahah Making friends along the way is what makes tattooing special to me, every day is different. The All-American Rejects were on this tour also, this was the first time I got to know these guys and make a few little tattoos for them too, all around great guys and good times. Long with making friends and tattoos for them also comes great adventures, Fall Out Boy played during Grad Night at Disney World during this tour, my new friend Joe Trohman invited me to join them on these few days as well, pretty awesome! I remember walking into the amusement park with members Joe and Pete and only making it about 20 yards before having to run from group of people wanting to meet the guys. Not long after we had a full VIP treatment of being escorted in a van underground, going ride to ride and taking elevators up to the tops of whatever rides we were wanting to get on. There was an entire world under ground, I've never experienced anything like it. Other random bonds were made that I would have never imagined as well. During a day off we linked up with Mikey Way from My Chemical Romance for a few days and I made a tattoo for him as well. This also happened to be his first tattoo, pretty cool. Wes Borland was along a surprise, touring with FFTL playing bass, which he also wrote and recorded on one of their albums as well.
