In 2006 I became good friends with a great guy named Joe Trohman. Joe is known for founding and playing guitar in Fall Out Boy, which is a very successful pop rock band originally from Chicago. Over the years of becoming friends, Joe has invited me to travel with him on many of his US tours to make tattoos for him, his band mates and crew members along the way. For myself just being a weird guy from southern Georgia who grew up listening to their music, I have always been very honored and excited to travel and work with these guys. Joe has spent many hours collecting both sleeves and a full chest tattoo from me. Another band member, Pete Wentz, has also collected a handful of tattoos from me on his arm as well. There is never a dull moment traveling with these guys too, super fun tours and all around great people. Thanks for the memories guys! It's been pretty cool to see a few moments in life get captured on film for the world to see as well. Magazines printing photos involving moments where I am tattooing and showing off the work I did. Below is a moment where I was tattooing Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy, while Brendon Urie of Panic At the Disco decided to join us and film for an episode of Drunk History. Pretty entertaining for sure. Here is also a pretty awesome Vine post that Brendon made while I was tattooing his drummer Dan.

Jeremy McKinnon is the frontman of the band A Day to Remember. Many years ago, after watching me make many tattoos on his band mates, I was honored to be asked to tattoo a full sleeve on Jeremy. He already had a pre-existing tattoo on the back side of his arm that he wanted to add on to and incorporate into the rest of his arm. With the ideas of both a sinking ship and 10000 Leagues Under the Sea both incorporated into the tattoo, this is what we made over many years. I wanted to show these tattoos because a lot of people ask me about this one specifically,
Thanks Jeremy, Miss you bud. I have many great memories with the guys of A Day to Remember, making their tattoos and spending time traveling the country watching them play music to a ton of people every night. There is never a dull moment with these guys and I really enjoyed all the time spent and tattoos made with these guys. I spent many years on tour making unique tattoos for each of them, love these guys. I tattooed most of Kevin's right arm, he wanted a few new school big eye characters on his arm, I thought it came out looking pretty rad! Alex plays drums in ADTR, great guy! He is the first to get tattooed by me, I made a full sleeve on him of rocket ships, UFOs and astronauts, super fun. I tattooed this pretty rad clock and snake on Neil, he plays guitar in A Day to Remember. Super fun live shows, super fun tattoos and good times all around. Many years ago I got a phone call from an old friend asking if I would be interested in joining him on the road, traveling with and tattooing a young musician with a free spirit. This artists name is Christofer Drew and his band name is Never Shout Never. Chris is an amazing and super creative guy and wanted some pretty unique ideas to come to life around the tattoos he already had. We had a lot of fun with this, we made uunique geometric patterns and shapes to cover his arms. I ended up spending a lot of time with Chris and became good friends, went on many tours with them, he invited me out to his house for a bit and he also came out to Tallahassee to get his throat tattooed.
Thank you for choosing and trusting me Chris. Mayday Parade is a group of awesome guys that have been doing really well at playing music for over a decade now. They are also from the same town that I live in, Tallahassee Florida. Growing up in the same area, I even had the pleasure of playing a little music with a few of these guys years ago. I've also had the pleasure of making tattoos for them as well, atleast the guys who have them. We spent many years and had a lot of fun making this Florida themed tattoo for Brooks,
his hair is so much nicer than mine too. hahahah Sometimes tattoos are great to remember the moment you are at in life, just the time and place. 11-11-11 only happens once, but the band and crew of Lucero were able to make it last forever.
After meeting these guys on a previous tour, The All-American Rejects invited me out to make a few little tattoos for them along the way on other tours as well, it's an honor to be asked to make tattoos like this for people, no matter how big or small the tattoo may be, the memory is unforgetable. This tattoo on Nick is to remind him of a band that inspired him to play music, do you recognize it? Tattooing a successful band's logo on the band members,
I'm honored to be a part of this. Tattooing and touring with the guys in Gym Class Heroes was a lot of fun over the years and I made a lot of rad tattoos and artwork for them as well. This is a group of guys that I really enjoyed the friendships and memories that I made with each member in their own ways and really a great group of guys all around. I went on a lot of different tours with Gym Class Heroes over the years. They invited me out to tattoo them on Warped Tour a few times, a few headlining tours, as well as them touring with other acts such as Lil Wayne, The Roots, The All-American Rejects, and more. Many great memories made. Not only traveling with them on tour, but on their time off, they also travel to my studio to get tattoos. The drummer of Gym Class Heroes collected one of my favorite tattoos I've done over the years. Especially considering the circumstances of beginning this tattoo while on the road backstage in a dressing room before a show. This tattoo took many sessions and somewhere in the ballpark of about 20 hours or so. Thank you Matt, miss you bud. Gym Class Heroes asked me to make a painting for them to use as a tour banner, I was pretty amazed to see something I made this large and on a stage like this. There is so much more than just tattooing that I really appreciate about these experiences in life. I get to make art that people see every day and hopefully get inspired by. I also get to create friendships with people I truly admire and respect for their artwork as well. Along the way I can only hope that I inspire my children and the people that I love to enjoy their lives as much as I do, because it goes by really really fast, and it doesn't get any easier as time goes on.
